How would you divide all psychoactive drugs into categories?
I’d like to put all psychoactive drugs into categories:
Example: Stimulants, Depressants, Hallucinogens, etc.
By “all psychoactive drugs” I mean medical (Zoloft, Xanax, etc.) and recreational (Cocaine, LSD, Cannabis, etc. ) drugs.
What categories should I use? I’d like to have as few as possible.
If drugs were legalized what guarentee would there be that prices would fall?
Many people use prices will fall if drugs were legalized, this may be true for things like marijuana and a few other drugs but what about drugs like Cocaine and crystal meth do you really think the government will let joey the drug dealer sell you drugs, also do you really think the government would allow these drugs to be purchased at an affordable rate. If they were to legalize drugs wouldn’t the government want to control its sale kind of like it does with pharmaceutical drugs. Wouldn’t they want to make sure the price for drugs is so high that the wealthy would be able to afford it, also many poor addicts would still commit crimes inorder to get a fix.
Yes I do know if there were no regulation prices would become competative, but if we regulate prescription drugs do you really think the government would not want to regulate drugs like crack, meth or the many other drugs?
